The Turk's-head ring kit consists of a fixture and several small tools, printed instructions, and a few feet of scrap copper wire to practice with. The fixture has a range of sizes of the same pattern, to allow the creation of rings from about a size 4 to about a size 12. (Sizes are approximate because the process is very sensitive to individual variations in its execution. In fact, the same fixture and the same wire might result in two different size rings on two different days, for me.)

The fixture has no pattern printed on it, but the printed instructions clearly indicate where the wire will lay. The kit also contains a modified steel needle, used to open the path while weaving, and a couple of commonly available but surprisingly useful tools: chopsticks and a small hemostat.
