5x11 in pure gold and silver This ring is made with pure silver and pure gold, which I used to tell people not to even consider getting. Both metals are very soft in the pure form, and the ring can distort easily, but this ring was worn constantly for a period of at least four years and suffered nothing more than a single broken strand -- not all that common a complaint, but considerably less trouble than I had predicted. This ring, and its mate, were purchased by a co-worker who had more confidence in my work than I did. It was a little out of round when I got it back, but that was easily fixed as well.
